Historical Background

Shanti Niketan - a Govt, recognized co-educational English Medium Upper Primary School, was established on 21s1 July, 1988 with 15 students in the cherished memory of Late Shri Bachhraj ji, Shri Multanmal Ji, Shri Mukanchandji and Shri Badarmal Ji renowned and rich Anyav family of Balotra. It is managed by Mithalal Gautam Kumar Charitable Trust. The school follows the N.C.E.R.T. Syllabus and is a Model Public School in Balotra, District - Barmen Later it was raised to a Secondary School in 2006 - 07 and Senior Secondary School in 2008 -09 with Science & Commerce streams and is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer.

Shanti Niketan is located in Balotra on Jodhpur Banner Road. It is situated in a massive cco-friendly environment and aesthetically designed School Building free from pollution and is conducive to concentration and study without any disturbance. The whole serene campus is surrounded by shady trees and plants. At present there are 26 well furnished spacious and ventilated classrooms with tube lights, fans, central audio system, cameras and colourful and functionally designed articles of furniture of different shapes, sizes and colours. The arrangement of seating in the classrooms is such that dynamic interaction is possible between the teacher and the students.
